About the role
- Technical Programme Manager leading and coordinating game day testing initiatives across engineering organization at FanDuel. Ensure robust system performance during high traffic events with multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage game day testing cycles (4-5 major tests per cycle, starting April kick-off)
- Orchestrate testing activities with 100+ engineers across multiple teams
- Facilitate large-scale coordination meetings (hundreds of participants via Zoom, breakout rooms)
- Create and maintain annual testing schedules with scattered game day tests throughout the year
- Make critical "go/no go" decisions for test execution
- Manage test preparation cycles (approximately 1 month preparation per test)
- Coordinate performance testing initiatives alongside game day activities
- Work closely with reliability engineering teams
- Ensure all stakeholders complete their assigned responsibilities
Requirements
- Strong project management experience with full project lifecycle ownership
- Collaboration-focused with heavy emphasis on cross-team coordination and stakeholder management
- Experience coordinating large, complex initiatives across multiple teams
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage diverse stakeholders and competing priorities
- Autonomous working style with ability to operate independently in established processes
- UK timezone availability for this hybrid role
- Basic technical knowledge to understand engineering testing concepts
- Strong focus and understanding of Continuous Performance Engineering (CPE) during testing
- Familiarity with service management principles (Service MGMT experience preferred)
