About the role

  • Low Voltage Preconstruction Engineer assisting in construction plan interpretation and field support at FTI's engineering projects. Collaborating with teams and maintaining project documentation, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings
  • Generate and distribute meeting minutes
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of changes and modifications made throughout the construction process
  • Provide support to field personnel during construction
  • Attend site meetings and visits to document existing conditions
  • Assist and collaborate with the engineering team in developing designs to meet project goals
  • Support MEP coordination with other trade contractors
  • Aid in the construction as-built and documentation process

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma, Technical Associate, or related experience
  • Some previous experience in construction or internships is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of construction programs like Bluebeam studio, AutoCAD, and Revit are beneficial but not required
