- Senior Architect leading architectural vision and execution across a distributed SaaS platform at F5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural consistency and security across services.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural vision, strategy, and execution across the distributed SaaS platform
- Influence and shape the technical strategy across networking, service discovery, workload orchestration
- Oversee architectural governance for design consistency and risk management
- Establish architectural guardrails and principles for service isolation and performance
- Drive cross-functional alignment among product, security, infrastructure, and development teams
- Collaborate with teams to define scalable and secure designs
- Mentor senior architects and technical leads
- Represent Distributed Cloud architecture to executive stakeholders and customers
Requirements
- 12+ years in architecture leadership roles
- 5+ years in a Chief Architect or Principal Architect capacity
- Proven experience designing and operating multi-tenant SaaS services
- Deep technical expertise in CDN, edge computing, routing, load balancing, DDoS mitigation
- Understanding of containers and orchestration technologies
- Broad understanding of coding and programming languages
- Extensive knowledge of the software development process
- Excellent understanding of design patterns and architectural styles
- Proficient knowledge of agile software operation and development designs
