About the role

  • Legislative & Regulatory Policy Assistant Director assisting in shaping public policy activities while engaging with key policymakers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assists team with development and execution of EY Office of Public Policy strategy
  • Develop subject matter expertise in policy areas critical to the firm
  • Produces written deliverables for internal use and distribution
  • Assists EY legislative team in political activities relevant to the firm's priorities
  • Responsible for communications distribution channel management

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 8-10 plus years of relevant experience for Assistant Director rank
  • 10-12 plus years of experience for Associate Director rank
  • Demonstrated understanding of US congressional and administration policy-making processes
  • Proven research, writing and editing skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Must be able to independently monitor events
  • Strong professional networking and public policy advocacy skills
