About the role
- Senior Test Engineer developing and executing test cases for Flexcube modules across banking. Collaborating with teams to ensure quality delivery and validate banking integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data for Flexcube modules across retail and corporate banking.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Flexcube version 12 or 14.
- Validate core modules such as CASA, Loans, Payments, Trade Finance, Treasury, Customer Information File (CIF), and GL .
- Conduct backend validations using SQL and perform EOD/BOD (End of Day/Beginning of Day) activity verifications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and environment teams to clarify requirements and ensure quality delivery.
- Participate in Flexcube upgrade testing – regression, patch testing, and environment validations.
- Identify and manage defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent test management tools.
- Work with interface teams to validate integrations between Flexcube and external systems (e.g., channels, payments, AML systems).
- Provide support for UAT and production release testing cycles.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 - 8 years experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Flexcube Version 12 or 14 version with Core Banking Options
- Domain experience in Retail and Corporate Banking with hands-on experience in CIF,CASA,LOAN & PAYMENT modules
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
