About the role
- Civil Design Engineer developing infrastructure for electric vehicle charging stations. Leading design processes and ensuring regulatory compliance for EV charger installations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the civil design process for EV charging stations, including layout planning, and infrastructure development.
- Prepare detailed engineering 2D drawings, 3D renders and specifications for the installation of charging stations.
- Attend meetings and provide updates on design progress and challenges.
- Ensure that designs meet all regulatory requirements, including environmental, zoning, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Experience with EV charging infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, 3dsmax and Autodesk Infraworks).
- Familiarity with the basic design of electrical utility connections and integration for charging stations.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with GIS (Geographical Information Systems) for site planning and analysis.
