About the role

  • Aviation Project Coordinator coordinating construction activities while ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements. Collaborating with various teams to maintain project progress and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Manage and document inspections of civil, architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
  • Monitor contractor performance, verifying work quality and adherence to approved drawings and schedules.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings and submittals to identify and resolve potential field issues.
  • Track and manage RFIs, submittals, and schedule updates to maintain project progress.
  • Provide field oversight and support to project managers, ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements.
  • Maintain detailed field logs, photo documentation, and inspection reports for accurate project records.
  • Ensure compliance with operational and security protocols, particularly in sensitive or active environments.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project teams, contractors, and clients through regular meetings and reports.
  • Monitor jobsite logistics, safety measures, and temporary protections to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Support financial management by verifying installed work for accurate contractor pay applications.
  • Contribute to quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes to meet industry and project standards.
  • Assist in preparing project reports, budgets, and proposals for new work or project variations.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the management of large, complex, multi-package construction projects.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification, Program Management certification preferred.
  • Registration as Architect or Engineer is desirable, but not required.
