Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing inspection criteria, electrical designs
- Performing technical reviews of electrical designs developed by architectural-engineering firms (A-E) or government organizations
- Resolving electrical design related problems arising during construction and inspection
- Provide expertise on electrical engineering aspects of the installation, modification, operation, and maintenance of facilities, mission systems, and support systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert to review and inspect electrical installations to ensure code compliance
- Prepare and/or review and evaluate design calculations
Requirements
- A BSEE degree from an accredited college/university
- Experience with installation and maintenance of low voltage (<1,000 VAC RMS) 50/60 Hz single and multiple phase wiring, including grounding
- At least two years of experience demonstrating the ability to apply the standards of UFC 1-200-01, UFC 1-201-02 and UFC Series 3-500
- Active Security Clearance from the US Federal Government
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
