About the role
- Lead Quality Analyst developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright and Python. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality assurance processes and testing practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation solutions
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to define test strategies and objectives
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and API testing
- Troubleshoot issues in test scripts and automation frameworks
- Continuously improve automation processes and ensure best practices in testing
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and raise any concerns or blockers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of testing activities
Requirements
- 9 to 12 years of experience in automation testing
- Expertise in Playwright for web automation testing
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
- Proven experience in developing automation frameworks from scratch
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in API testing
- Strong knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems, test management tools, and Agile project management tools
