About the role
- Developer designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications with focus on APIs and microservices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior developers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
- Utilize SpringBoot, Hibernate, and JPA for application development.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Work with databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines using Git.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Create and maintain high-level and low-level design (HLD and LLD) documents.
- Act as a solution architect, ensuring the scalability and reliability of applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of SpringBoot, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Proficiency in database management and SQL.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Expertise in RESTful services and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Git and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience in solution architecture, including HLD and LLD.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
