About the role

  • Engenheiro Pré e Pós Operação Pl managing energy transmission operations and analyzing risks. Involves collaboration with teams and regulatory bodies in Brazil.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor events with Variable Portion (PVI) via the SATRA system, including forecasting impacts prior to interventions and preparing technical contestation reports.
  • Manage the transmission accounting process through SAAT, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze outages and disturbances, prepare internal reports, identify root causes in collaboration with technical teams, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage disturbances in ONS systems (SIPER) and follow up on measures via SGP, coordinating responses with technical areas.
  • Plan and coordinate interventions in the transmission system (scheduled and emergency), interfacing with field teams, ONS and other agents, including registration and documentation.
  • Assess operational and regulatory risks associated with interventions, including PV impacts, and develop operational switching programs.
  • Prepare, review and manage operational documents, such as Operating Procedures and Operational Agreements.
  • Monitor and improve performance indicators (internal and regulatory), including tracking the Results Plan with ANEEL.
  • Manage reinforcement and improvement processes through SGPMR, including following up on construction works and analyzing access requests from new agents.
  • Manage the integration process for new assets with internal areas, interacting with ONS and external agents.
  • Develop tools, automations and dashboards (Excel, Power BI) for data analysis, increased operational efficiency and decision support.
  • Analyze operational and performance data, identifying deviations, inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Prepare technical reports and management presentations to support decision-making and interface with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor pre- and post-operation topics with ABRATE.
  • Manage oversight and inspection processes with the company's technical areas.
  • Conduct internal trainings and workshops on regulatory and operational topics for real-time teams and technical support.
  • Participate in strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of electric power transmission system operations, including pre- and post-operation processes.
  • Mastery of the ONS Network Procedures, with emphasis on modules applicable to real-time operation, scheduling and post-operation.
  • Knowledge of Brazilian electricity sector regulation, especially in transmission (ANEEL and ONS).
  • Experience interfacing and negotiating with ONS and other agents in the electricity sector.
  • Experience in disturbance analysis, system interventions and operational risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of operational and regulatory indicators, including Variable Portion (PV).
  • Experience with MS Office, with emphasis on Excel (data analysis) and PowerPoint (executive presentations).
  • Knowledge of programming languages and/or database query languages (such as SQL, Python or similar) for extraction, processing and analysis of operational data.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, schedule monitoring and risk management.
