About the role

  • Program Manager responsible for Eversource’s capital program development and performance improvements. Collaborating to provide system reliability and manage budgets across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provides input to the development of the capital program budget
  • Assists with identifying, initiating, and prioritizing programs for inclusion in the one-year and five-year Capital Budget Plan
  • Analyzes Substation reliability, including goal setting, reporting, and System Operations Review Committee activities
  • Communicates the Asset Management strategy throughout Eversource and to external parties as necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Business or Engineering
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of eight years of directly related experience
  • Knowledge of substation power system planning, engineering, maintenance, and operations
  • Strong background in process improvement
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial documents
  • Strong technical knowledge and business acumen
  • Ability to create/manage Microsoft Access Databases, Microsoft Excel databases and associated user interfaces (visual basic, SQL or similar programming ability) is highly desirable
