About the role
- Program Manager responsible for Eversource’s capital program development and performance improvements. Collaborating to provide system reliability and manage budgets across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Provides input to the development of the capital program budget
- Assists with identifying, initiating, and prioritizing programs for inclusion in the one-year and five-year Capital Budget Plan
- Analyzes Substation reliability, including goal setting, reporting, and System Operations Review Committee activities
- Communicates the Asset Management strategy throughout Eversource and to external parties as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Business or Engineering
- MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering preferred
- Minimum of eight years of directly related experience
- Knowledge of substation power system planning, engineering, maintenance, and operations
- Strong background in process improvement
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial documents
- Strong technical knowledge and business acumen
- Ability to create/manage Microsoft Access Databases, Microsoft Excel databases and associated user interfaces (visual basic, SQL or similar programming ability) is highly desirable
