About the role
- Senior Program Manager overseeing multiple programs within defense operations at Leonardo DRS. Managing execution, communication, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct the daily execution of multiple programs
- Lead all meetings and the integrated product and/or project team
- Provide interface, communication and coordination with internal and external customers
- Lead and or support bid and proposal activities
- Works closely with Engineering to manage a development program
- Manages and ensures the timely completion of specific technical programs or projects
- Prepare for and participate in contract/subcontract negotiations
- Develop and implement corrective action plans when deviations from budgets and/or schedules are evident
Requirements
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or Business degree may be preferred
- Knowledge of program management tools and procedures
- Experience throughout the program lifecycle
- Experience with earned value cost accounting and reporting
- Strong presentation skills
- Program Management certification preferred (i.e. PMP or DAU)
