About the role
- Procurement Manager responsible for IRIS2 project procurement activities in collaboration with stakeholders at Eutelsat. Ensuring procurement processes align with the overall IRIS2 objectives and managing supplier evaluation.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for all procurement missions and tasks delegated to the procurement lead of the IRIS2 project.
- Identify, within the project, all Tier 1 and lower-tier procurements that need to be implemented.
- Organize all procurement activities for the IRIS2 project, in particular Sourcing (i.e., identification of potential bidders).
- Prepare consultation documentation and manage the RFI/RFP process.
- Evaluate suppliers' proposals (RFI/RFP).
- Support decision bodies: Tender Evaluation Board (TEB) and Tender Senior Board (TSB).
- Manage contracting with suppliers.
- Monitor contract execution from e-signature through to contract completion.
- Act as the focal point for Eutelsat (EUT) with the SpaceRise consortium for procurement activities.
- Ensure a coherent procurement approach aligned with overall IRIS2 objectives.
- Manage planning, cost and contractual commitment flow-down.
- Interface with all program and company stakeholders: Project Manager (direct report), Project segment managers, Commercial, Contracts, Legal and Finance teams.
- Formalize the IRIS2 procurement process within the Business Management System.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement, particularly within complex industrial and organizational environments.
- Background or experience in space programmes.
- Strong understanding of the key processes and tasks described above.
- Leadership skills to drive and coordinate a team composed of diverse skills and companies.
- Experience with project management digital tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Based in Issy-les-Moulineaux with regular travel to Toulouse.
