About the role
- Software Engineer 3 responsible for UI module architecture and implementation at technology firm. Delivering high-quality solutions and mentoring engineers for project success.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex UI/feature modules in the frontend (e.g., for Hydra) with maintainable, reusable code
- Take full ownership of features from requirements to delivery — including planning, coding, unit testing, integration, bug fixes, and release readiness.
- Identify technical debt, refactor legacy code, and proactively improve the codebase for long-term stability.
- Conduct constructive and thorough code reviews, giving feedback that improves code quality and developer skills.
- Anticipate potential architectural or design problems (e.g. circular dependencies, module coupling) and resolve them before they manifest.
- Work closely with backend teams, QA, product stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and alignment with project requirements and timelines.
- Be the go-to technical owner for assigned modules / features, and accept full responsibility for their health and delivery.
