About the role
- Senior Software Tester fluent in English working with major IT client's team in Belgium. Engaging in test planning, execution, and coordination within a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Definition of test plans and test cases;
- Construction of test scenarios and scripts;
- Execution of tests;
- Test coordination;
- Reporting of test results;
- Design, prepare and perform end-to-end tests (mixing automated and manual tests);
- Design, prepare and perform system integration testing (mixing automated and manual tests);
- Investigate bugs to find root causes in a complex web of applications, test and validate bug fixes;
- Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers.
Requirements
- University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
- Hands-on experience in the manual Testing;
- Experience with Test Management Tools, notably Zephyr;
- Experience with Defect Tracking tools, notably Jira;
- Strong experience with testing technologies, tools and techniques;
- Experience in test data management and SQL database operations (e.g. Oracle);
- Experience with agile methodology (Scrum);
- Experience with System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing;
- Experience with Business Process Modelling;
- Optional certification : ISTQB certification or equivalent;
- Excellent command of the English language.
