About the role

• Java Developer fluent in English for European Dynamics, based in Brussels, involved in Information Systems testing and development in collaboration with clients.

Responsibilities

• We currently have a vacancy for a **Java Developer **fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
• **Your Tasks:**
• Development and maintenance of Information Systems testing scenarios (testing new features and non-regression testing);
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with end users, business managers and the project team (business analysts, project managers and developers);
• Development and maintenance of technical documentation;
• Assistance in analysis, deployment, evaluation and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Java development;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with middle-tier development using languages and frameworks Java/Spring boot;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in back-end data-base development using Oracle and PL/SQL;
• Very good knowledge and practice of service oriented, REST, web services, architectures;
• Very good knowledge and practice of SpringBoot;
• Very good knowledge and practice of JIRA and code versioning tools, i.e. Git;
• Very good knowledge and experience in unit testing;
• Very good knowledge and experience of continuous integration tools such as Bamboo;
• Good knowledge and practice of Confluence, SharePoint;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in client’s standard DevSecOps technology will be considered an important asset;
• Experience in back-end development using PostgreSQL will be considered an important asset;
• Experience in integration with AI systems will be considered an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language, other EU language will be considered an asset.
