Responsibilities
Ensure design quality on-site, travel across EMEA, and help deliver top-tier building services projects
Work across multiple projects and locations
Conduct regular site visits and work closely with contractors and clients
Ensure design intent is fully and accurately implemented on site
Support quality assurance of mechanical designs
Communicate technical requirements to teams
Review site installations and document observations
Conduct inspections and collaborate with commissioning teams
Promote a strong health and safety culture on site
Requirements
The candidate must be based in Ireland and have full flexibility to travel within the Schengen Zone without restrictions
A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Site experience, ideally in building services or M&E consultancy
A strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pipework, ventilation, drainage, controls (BMS), and fire suppression
Familiarity with BCaR inspections and quality assurance procedures
Ability to interpret technical drawings and relay design intent to site teams
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Comfortable travelling to various project sites across Ireland
Experience using site management and documentation software (ProCore or similar) is a plus
