About the role
- Planning and controlling construction projects for Espaçolaser's expansion. Collaborating with various departments to ensure project objectives are met.
Responsibilities
- Project planning (including, but not limited to, creating schedules) and deadline monitoring
- Track and manage requests from various departments, controlling the development and execution of projects in the area based on the expansion plan to ensure scope compliance
- Produce and distribute materials related to project progress, including updates to spreadsheets, presentations, and status reports
- Create and manage documents, reports, meeting minutes, and presentations related to projects
- Schedule and lead weekly project follow-up meetings
- Identify process improvement opportunities, formalize and implement processes to establish an operational standard
- Knowledge of cost management, budgeting, and project billing to control project CapEx
- Proactive variance analysis (verifying conformity between scope, cost, and timelines) and development of action plans with involved areas to drive continuous improvement
- Support the engineering team with analyses for the approval/onboarding of new suppliers
Requirements
- University degree in a related field (engineering, architecture, or business/administration); postgraduate qualification in project management is desirable
- Knowledge, even at an introductory level, of project management best practices and methodologies (traditional and/or agile)
- Experience in project control, preferably in engineering projects (retail expansion, construction companies)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Power BI is a plus
- Strong communication skills to lead meetings with multiple company departments
- Collaborative attitude and ability to support project managers and multidisciplinary teams
