Responsibilities
Support energetics and chemical manufacturing processes, including evaluating safe processes, equipment, and facility design
Formulate risk mitigation strategies
Provide technical expertise in new process startup activities
Evaluate standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Perform malfunction and incident investigations
Interact with technical customers to provide process engineering and safety expertise
Manage projects, facilitate meetings, and lead hazard analyses
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
At least 20 years of relevant experience
Strong technical background in process engineering, process safety, and hazard analysis
Expertise in energetic manufacturing processes is strongly desired
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders
Excellent verbal/written communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
Experience leading and facilitating teams to perform engineering and safety reviews with various stakeholders, including engineers, operators, and safety and quality representatives
Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
