About the role

  • Acting as a costs and budgeting specialist in the Gente area at a sustainable construction company. Guaranteeing planning, control, and analysis of personnel initiatives and structures.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a cost and budgeting specialist within the People (HR) area, ensuring the planning, control and analysis of personnel initiatives, policies and organizational structures.
  • Support strategic decision-making with accurate information, robust analyses and financial recommendations.
  • Lead the budget cycles, strategic planning and rolling forecast related to personnel costs for the entire company in Brazil.
  • Prepare, consolidate and monitor the annual People budget (headcount, salaries and payroll charges, benefits, overtime, training and other expenses).
  • Prepare, consolidate and report the monthly People rolling forecast (headcount, salaries and payroll charges, benefits and other expenses) to Controllership.
  • Define and review budgeting assumptions together with Controllership, Procurement, Payroll and Benefits teams.
  • Model financial scenarios and run impact simulations for changes in people policies.
  • Monitor monthly budget/forecast execution and variances (actual vs. budget), identify deviations and propose corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with budgeting cycles.
  • Experience in strategic planning and rolling forecasts.
