Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer for Grid Connection and Protection Technology (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the complete grid-connection work package — from technical feasibility through to commissioning.
You coordinate grid operator processes, arrange and oversee testing, and prepare technical proofs and documentation.
Preparation of grid connection applications and submission of technical data packages.
Manage and respond to technical queries from grid operators.
Planning and responsibility for demonstrating compliance with VDE-AR-N 4105 and VDE-AR-N 4110.
Definition of single-line diagrams, protection concepts, CT (current transformer) specifications and telecontrol/remote-control technology.
Coordination of external partners for protection tests such as FAT and SAT.
Maintain schedules for grid milestones and manage dependencies and risks.
Consolidation of approvals, test reports and certificates up to commissioning.
Further development of standards, templates and grid connection processes.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (e.g. master craftsman or certified technician).
Several years of experience in grid connection for power plants, ideally battery storage or renewable energy projects.
Strong knowledge of protection technology, standards and grid-operator processes.
Confident in reading and creating single-line diagrams and technical specifications.
Experience with certification and testing processes, including FAT and SAT.
Clear and professional communication with grid operators and authorities.
German language skills at least C1 level.
