About the role

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of Project Development for the Interconnects program and projects
  • Uphold Enbridge priority to be the First Choice of Customer and support Path to Zero safety target
  • Ensure development project scope definitions comply with all regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements
  • Develop, maintain and use orientation and on-boarding materials for Connecting Parties
  • Leverage existing project development tools to establish and maintain project schedules and cost estimates
  • Organize preliminary site visits and manage contracts associated with preliminary site survey activities
  • Lead the development of Unclassified and Classified Project Proposals, Project Charters, and Charter Plans
  • Develop and maintain long range cost and schedule forecasts of prospective projects
  • Manage Interconnects portfolio meta data and create PowerBI dashboards
  • Coordinate and prepare for monthly meetings with internal stakeholders
  • Organize post-project Lessons Learned meetings to identify project successes and areas for improvement
  • Provide support to Supervisor, Development and Engineering and audit reviews of Interconnect design packages
  • Provide support to advance continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Professional Engineer designation (for candidates located in Canada)
  • High degree of knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions in the design and operations of a pipeline facility
  • Working knowledge of applicable codes, procedures, policies, and regulations
  • Working knowledge of all pipeline facility aspects; mechanical, civil, electrical & instrumentation, automation & controls
  • Knowledge and experience in gas pipeline construction or operations and maintenance
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
  • Experience negotiating technical aspects of Interconnection Agreements between companies (preferred)
