Director of Global Supply Chain Operations driving supply chain transformation and operational optimization in electronics manufacturing at Emerson. Leading cross-functional projects and supporting advanced supply chain technologies.
Responsibilities
Lead and support cross-functional supply chain programs and projects, including digitalization, analytics, and process improvement initiatives.
Apply knowledge of electronics manufacturing supply chains, including component sourcing, production planning, and inventory management, to optimize end-to-end operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance supply chain efficiency, agility, and resilience.
Support the deployment and optimization of Oracle EBS, Kinaxis, and other advanced supply chain platforms. Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement new tools and processes.
Analyze inventory data, support inventory optimization projects, and contribute to the development of advanced forecasting and simulation models.
Prepare and analyze supply chain KPIs, generate actionable insights, and present findings to leadership. Leverage analytics to identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, S&OP, Customer Operations, and regional teams (Hungary, Malaysia) to support integrated supply chain planning and execution.
Participate in risk mitigation, compliance, and sustainability initiatives as part of the Supply Chain Center of Excellence.
Engage in ongoing training and development to build expertise in global supply chain leadership, advanced analytics, and digital transformation.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in supply chain or operations with a strong preference for electronics/ semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle EBS preferred) and advanced supply chain planning tools (Kinaxis or similar).
Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
Willingness to travel as needed and collaborate across time zones.
