About the role
- Lead critical aspects of European IT Systems strategy for Global Sales Group. Collaborate with teams to implement projects and ensure project priorities align with leadership.
Responsibilities
- Accountable & Responsible for elements of the European World Area IT groups and functions, to ensure the deliverables and quality of work on projects and day to day support.
- Ensuring relevant project priorities are aligned with the European Leadership Team.
- Represent Europe at relevant global IT Portfolio and project steering groups as necessary.
- Leading the coordination of the relevant/assigned project visioning, planning and delivery for the European IT, Sales and Finance Operations group.
- Working with the European IT Business Systems Director to develop a strategic program of projects/initiatives.
- Delivering relevant actions related to the rollout/upgrade of Oracle and other system changes.
- Responsible for communications, including demonstrating the value added as part of the relevant programs.
- Ensure consistent best in class service levels for all services delivered by the Group.
- Control the relevant IT systems/projects budgets and POR (Actual vs Planned, Direct and Allocated Costs).
Requirements
- Completed higher education (University degree).
- Extensive experience in leading and developing international application teams, to deliver projects.
- Proven ability to operate at a senior level, building trusted relationships in dynamic, change-driven environments.
- Experience in negotiating/managing suppliers and third-party providers.
- Strong understanding of Oracle ERP.
- Broad knowledge of business strategies, systems, and project management methodologies.
- Functional and technical skills in finance, focusing on business applications and solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in English (business standard).
