About the role
- Join ELPATO as a Volontär:in Redaktion focusing on podcast production and social media. Develop audio content and engage with community while collaborating in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Independently research potential topics for the ACHILLES RUNNING podcast and content production
- Research guests, conduct professional outreach, and coordinate interview scheduling
- Independently script and record our short podcast formats (topic research, script writing, remote studio‑quality recording)
- Host and conduct interviews on the ACHILLES RUNNING podcast (including scripting and recording voiceovers for ad campaigns)
- Support podcast post‑production (e.g., preparing editorial editing instructions)
- Conceptualize new formats for Instagram (Reels, Stories) and creatively develop content
- Actively participate in video production (in front of and behind the camera) for IG Stories and Reels
- Edit videos using tools such as Canva and InShot
- Support active community management and engagement across our social media channels
Requirements
- Completed degree (ideally in communications/media studies, sports science, or journalism) or comparable editorial experience
- Strong interest in audio formats; enjoy researching and making complex topics accessible
- Ideally some experience in audio recording/editing and with video production tools (e.g., InShot, CapCut, Canva)
- Comfortable on social networks and familiar with the "language" and dynamics of their communities
- Excellent spelling and grammar, high initiative, strong organizational skills, and a communicative, team‑oriented personality
