About the role

  • Project manager handling technical customer projects in automotive sector. Managing customer relationships and project budgets while collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Project management: Planning, control, monitoring and execution of technical customer projects (quality, schedules, costs, budget)
  • Quotation management: Technical evaluation of inquiries, support in preparing proposals
  • Customer support: Maintenance and development of customer relationships, identification of cross- and up-selling opportunities
  • Negotiation: Independent conduct of negotiations within authorized limits, contract management
  • Interface role: Close collaboration with engineering, procurement, production and external partners
  • Reporting: Regular status reports to sales management and executive management
  • Responsibility: Full accountability for overall projects regarding components and processes (quality, schedules, costs, budget)

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical field
  • Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in the automotive industry
  • Industry knowledge in the automotive sector (VDA 6.3, IATF, etc.)
  • Proficient with MS Office and ERP systems
  • Strong customer orientation, entrepreneurial mindset and a structured, solution-oriented working style
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Some initial leadership experience desirable
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit and natural authority
  • Willingness to travel and flexible working hours
