About the role
- Support Engineer providing technical guidance on electrical products and applications for the Brazilian market. Collaborating with teams to customize solutions and manage technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Pre- and post-sales technical support: provide specialized technical guidance on products and applications.
- Project specification analysis: interpret specification documents, diagrams and technical proposals.
- Sizing and product selection: identify the appropriate solution based on electrical requirements and regulatory standards.
- Training and technical enablement: deliver workshops and webinars for customers, integrators and distributors.
- Cross-team interaction: align local requirements with product strategies, conduct customer visits and support product specification.
- Solution customization: when necessary, collaborate with R&D or engineering teams to adapt products.
- Technical proposal management: prepare technical documentation, descriptive reports, comparison analyses and coordination/protection studies.
- Follow-up on approvals and testing: support customers during validation or commissioning.
Requirements
- Reside in the Recife, Fortaleza or Salvador areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Familiarity with industrial, commercial or renewable energy applications.
- English or Spanish desirable.
- Standards: NBR 5410 and NR 10.
- Low-voltage electrical design projects.
- Knowledge of low-voltage products, including sizing of products and systems.
- Technical certifications or courses in electrical protection, lightning protection (SPDA), selectivity, etc.
