About the role
- Coordinator for regulatory review assisting with product registration and compliance at e.l.f. Beauty, a leader in clean and cruelty-free cosmetics. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for global product launches.
Responsibilities
- Assist with gathering documentation to complete regulatory review of ingredients, raw materials and formulas.
- Support product registration and notification for all e.l.f. Beauty brands, interfacing with cross-functional teams. This includes creating, reviewing and submitting required documentation, tracking registration status and timelines.
- Collaborate with consultants, distributors and manufacturers to ensure all compliance requirements are met and registrations/notifications are completed according to brand timelines for global product launches.
- Assist with registration and reporting needs to support global Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in the cosmetic industry in a Regulatory Affairs role preferred
- A science background (College degree or higher) required.
- Working knowledge of Cosmetics products regulatory requirements with an emphasis on color cosmetics and skin care
- Working knowledge or some experience with regulatory review of ingredients, labeling, notification/registration, product claims, or packaging requirements a bonus.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for ingredients, finished products, claims, packaging, and artwork requirements.
- Highly collaborative
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and orally.
- Comfortable learning and working with web-based databases and submission portals.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe and PowerPoint.
- Must be self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking.
