About the role

Responsibilities
- Support strategic decision making across the company
- Conduct feasibility analysis for external customers
- Perform commercial analytics by developing predictive models and advanced analytics solutions
- Prepare analytical data sets in support of modeling studies
- Develop and deliver customized reports for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring clarity and relevance
- Design and implement scalable analytics pipeline, advanced statistical models to solve business problems
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to support new product development
- Proactively collaborate with business partners to determine identified population segments and develop actionable plans to enable the identification of patterns related to quality, use, cost and other variables
Requirements
- Requires MS, MA, or PhD with concentration in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, computer science, cognitive science, economics, or operations research
- Minimum of 3 years direct experience programming large, multi-source datasets with SAS
- Minimum of 3 years in health care setting
- Proficiency with SQL, SQL Server, R or Python strongly preferred
- Intermediate to Advanced expertise with software such as SAS Stat, SAS ETS, SAS Enterprise Miner or equivalents strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of statistical modelling, predictive analytics, ML libraries
- Experience with visualization and business intelligence tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare datasets (i.e. closed claims, EHR/EMR), market access analytics, and commercial strategies in the pharmaceutical domain
- Experience in developing and conducting training sessions for internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with AWS and Cloud environments
- Proven ability to design modeling studies and experience with data models, addressing data quality issues in study design, constructing robust and efficient analytical data sets strongly preferred.
- Significant experience in healthcare related field strongly preferred.
