About the role

  • creating a partnership relationship with providers and key health plan leads
  • support initiatives and ensure members receive a fully integrated and accountable system of care
  • Assess current practice patterns, assets, and challenges utilizing NCQA Standards
  • HEDIS audits, site reviews, and medical records reviews
  • In partnership with the OB provider, evaluate the results of the initial assessment
  • Establishes a project plan with the practice that establishes goals and objectives for improvement
  • Provides ongoing practice support and sustains the partnership
  • Establishes regular meetings to track progress
  • Improves the understanding and sensitivity to the unique needs of this population and the caregivers
  • Ensures OB providers are offering evidenced-based care to members and driving quality improvement

Requirements

  • Requires AS in nursing
  • minimum of 5 years of managed care experience
  • minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • minimum of 2 years of professional presentations to small and large audiences
  • Current, unrestricted clinical license appropriate to field of specialty (LVN/LPN, RN, NP, PA, LCSW, LSW, etc.) as required
  • BSN or MSN preferred
  • 2 years of combination of OB/GYN, Mother/Baby, L&D clinical experience highly preferred
