About the role

Responsibilities
- Responsible for full delivery of end-to-end system development and maintenance
- Builds rapid AI/ML and GenAI prototypes
- Works hands-on with emerging AI frameworks, LLMs, vector databases, and orchestration tools
- Collaborates with architects and engineering teams
- Drives performance, stability, and scalability improvements
- Owns change request processes and coordinates with cross-functional teams
- Ensures testing is completed and experimental prototypes are validated
- Supports and enhances the technical development environment
- Participates in vendor assessments
- Maintains active relationships with customers
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 7 years related experience
- Multi-platform, multi-dimensional experience
- Expert level experience with business and technical applications
- AI/ML and GenAI experience highly preferred
- Hands-on development with emerging frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Experience building LLM-based prototypes
- Strong understanding of rapid experimentation, lean POCs, and iterative prototyping
- Familiarity with vector databases and cloud-native AI services
- Understanding of ML Ops fundamentals
- Ability to evaluate and integrate COTS AI solutions
- Experience mentoring team members in modern AI engineering practice
