About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
- Ensure ongoing financial accounting, including account reconciliations

- Liaise with tax advisors, auditors and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with commercial law requirements and proper documentation
Requirements
- Completed commercial/vocational training or equivalent qualification
- Further training as a certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter, IHK) or relevant professional experience
- Solid knowledge of financial accounting under HGB (German GAAP)
- Experience in general ledger and sub-ledger accounting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) – nice to have
