About the role

  • GIS/BIS Administrator ensuring operational security of internal geographic information systems. Updating software and providing user support for system-related inquiries and issues.

Responsibilities

  • You ensure the secure and reliable operation of the internal Geographic Information System (GIS) and the Asset Information System (BIS).
  • You evaluate and implement new software and support software updates and upgrades.
  • You act as the point of contact for system users regarding application questions, problems, or incidents.
  • You serve as the interface between users and the external IT service provider to implement business requirements in the system.

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree, e.g. in IT or a comparable, relevant field.
  • You have several years of experience in a relevant role.
  • You have practical experience leading and participating in IT projects.
  • Your strong communication skills and goal-oriented work style complete your profile.
