About the role
- CFO responsible for financial strategy and development at ehotel®, a leading hotel booking platform. Overseeing finance, controlling, treasury, and risk management functions in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for finance and accounting, controlling, treasury and risk management
- Develop and implement the financial strategy in close coordination with the Executive Board
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
- Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German GAAP)
- Primary contact for banks, investors, auditors and authorities
- Further develop our financial processes, systems and reporting
- Lead and develop our finance team
- Support strategic projects, M&A and investment decisions
Requirements
- Completed degree in economics, finance or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in a senior finance role—ideally as CFO or in a comparable position
- Solid knowledge of accounting under HGB, controlling and corporate finance
- Experience communicating with investors and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
- Leadership experience with a clear focus on team development
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
