About the role

  • Quality Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications at Early Warning. Focused on automation strategies and collaboration with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, documents, tests, debugs, and maintains software product applications.
  • Serves as quality engineer on development projects.
  • Perform test strategy, test design, test planning, automation of various test frameworks and tools.
  • Integral to EWS’ overall effort to implement enterprise test automation strategies and methodology with a focus on continuous integration and delivery for products.
  • Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to develop technical and domain expertise and apply it to solve testing challenges across the teams.
  • Research, implement and improve testing tools and processes for products and teams.
  • Drive standardization and adoption of test automation technologies to maintain consistency across the company that will allow to scale as they grow.
  • Participate in design, code and test case reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage, as well as quality of code and tests.
  • Analyze and monitor the continued quality of products and find ways to increase the quality of those products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience developing software or test automation frameworks using two of the programming languages – Java, Ruby, Node.js or Objective C. Java is preferred.
  • Prior experience with established Software development and monitoring tools (GitLab, GIT, Eclipse/Android Studio/X-Code, Bamboo, Harness, Splunk, AppDynamics).
  • Experience implementing test automation frameworks for API, web, or mobile platforms (hybrid, iOS or Android) using any test automation tools– Appium, Selenium, Web driver, Rest-Assured API, and Cucumber.
  • AWS or Cloud experience.
  • Kubernetes.
  • Background and drug screen.
