Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs
- Develop container management software to solve client challenges
- Use technical skills to affect mission-forward change
- Hone skills using the latest cloud technologies to improve client environment with current container software
- Support team in informing strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout containerization process
- Recommend resources that will help clients manage and securely adopt containers
- Continue to strengthen DevOps skills while supporting development of critical cloud platforms
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in an AWS cloud environment
- 3+ years of experience with containerization, building images, and orchestrating deployments in Kubernetes and Rancher or EKS
- 3+ years of experience managing tools deployed with Helm using ArgoCD or Flux, including writing custom Helm charts, and with automation tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt, or IaC tool suite
- Experience developing custom applications and supporting them in a production environment
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing such as CI / CD
- Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions
- Knowledge of container security technologies and evaluating and mitigating or resolving vulnerability findings
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
- DoD 8570 Level II Certification
