About the role

  • AI Engineer developing and maintaining models and solutions for Booz Allen's Air Power team. Collaborating with a large community of AI professionals to deliver world-class solutions for the Department of War.

Responsibilities

  • Train, test, deploy, and maintain models
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and product owners
  • Own and define the direction of critical solutions
  • Apply cutting-edge Agentic frameworks
  • Support optimizing organizational efficiency
  • Solve real-world challenges for Department of War

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building production-grade software in Python, TypeScript, or Java
  • Experience with APIs and data services such as FastAPI, Flask, REST, GraphQL, or SQL
  • Experience developing and deploying AI-enabled applications
  • Experience building secure data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms
  • Experience designing event-driven integrations and workflow automation
  • Experience implementing MLOps or DevSecOps practices
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Science
