About the role

• Quality Analyst executing manual tests and documenting defects for software projects. Collaborating with development teams and participating in test case creation and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual tests according to test plans and test cases.
• Record and document defects found using bug/issue tracking tools.
• Monitor defect status and verify implemented fixes.
• Participate in the creation of simple test cases under guidance.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not impact existing functionality.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand features and requirements.
• Keep test documentation up to date.
• Learn about testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify unforeseen scenarios.
• Assist in preparing test environments.
• Attend project planning and status meetings.
• Seek feedback and learning opportunities for professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in progress or recently completed in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with defect/issue tracking tools (Azure DevOps, test management tools).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Oracle (desirable).
