About the role

Responsibilities
- Execute manual tests according to test plans and test cases.
- Record and document defects found using bug/issue tracking tools.
- Monitor defect status and verify implemented fixes.
- Participate in the creation of simple test cases under guidance.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not impact existing functionality.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand features and requirements.
- Keep test documentation up to date.
- Learn about testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify unforeseen scenarios.
- Assist in preparing test environments.
- Attend project planning and status meetings.
- Seek feedback and learning opportunities for professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in progress or recently completed in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with defect/issue tracking tools (Azure DevOps, test management tools).
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Oracle (desirable).
