As a Software Engineer Lead, you will guide technical design and development for PNC's C&IB organization, based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA.
About the role
- Test Plan and Validation Manager at POWERTECH, overseeing test strategy and execution for turbofan development. Leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with certification standards.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the overall and appropriate test strategy for the turbofan development program
- Oversee the planning and execution of all test campaigns (component and rig testing, module and core engine performance tests, FETT, Altitude Test, certification tests…)
- Validate data-processing methodologies and approve test reports used for design/performance/certification validation
- Ensure alignment between Testing, Systems Engineering, Product Engineering, Airworthiness and Manufacturing.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in engine testing within turbofan propulsion, or other similar complex engineered systems
- Experience with civil and/or military certification frameworks (EASA, FAA, EMAR)
- Demonstrated leadership in managing large test campaigns (FETT, endurance, certification)
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
