About the role

• Project Coordinator managing project schedules and reports for major electric utility client. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery in a consulting engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and update project schedules in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and/or other similar software.
• Keeping Project Manager, Department Manager and/or other stakeholders informed of project timelines and associated deadlines.
• Attend regular and as-needed meetings with managers and/or stakeholders.
• Create routine and as-needed reports, such as summary and lookahead schedules, key milestones.
• Detail oriented, prioritize tasks and manage multiple schedules simultaneously.
• Effectively and accurately communicate relative project information to project design team and/or other stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience creating and updating project schedules
• 5+ years working in consulting engineering firm or equivalent experience in similar role
• Proficient using Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Word, TEAMs, SharePoint and Outlook)
• Highly organized, strong communicator and self-starter
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Understands project workflows.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Associate degree or higher preferred but not required.
• Microsoft-certification preferred but not required.
