About the role
- Senior Project Manager overseeing initiatives for capability development and project life cycle management at Kemper. Ensuring communication and quality standards are met while managing risks and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversees initiatives for new capability development, implementation, pilot, and coordinate the effort across Kemper.
- Manages the end to end project life cycle of projects to assure these are delivered on time; within quality standards; risks are identified and mitigated.
- Ensures stakeholders receive timely and accurate communication.
- Conducts post mortems and maintain lesson-learned inputs on project successes and improvements for utilization in similar situations.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant business experience in Project Management
- Certificate in Project Management a Plus
- JIRA experience is required.
- ServiceNow PM Module is a plus
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required

- A proven track record of successfully leading projects in a high-tech development environment and with multi-functional and technical workstreams.
- Strong relationship management skills to gain stakeholders’ support.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments.
