About the role
- Operations Engineer developing digital solutions for E.ON Grid Solutions in smart grid technology. Responsible for driving operational processes and ensuring system reliability in Hamburg.
Responsibilities
- Develop and establish a holistic operations process for our platforms and systems
- Select and implement appropriate tools for monitoring, automation and incident management
- Define standards, workflows and documentation for operational activities
- Ensure system availability, analyze incidents and handle remediation as well as follow-up for failed devices
- Implement incident and problem management and coordinate measures for sustainable fault resolution
- Work closely with development, project management and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering, information technology, or equivalent vocational training with additional qualification
- Initial practical experience in technical operations, electrical engineering, automation engineering or a comparable field
- Knowledge of IT systems, networks or cloud platforms is a plus
- Ideally, experience in the operation of distribution networks or remote-control (telecontrol) technology
- Fluent German and very good written and spoken English
