About the role
- Business Controller optimizing finance structures at SafeDriver Group in Berlin. Collaborating with management and contributing to financial reporting and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring of external financing: management of financing structures, covenant and KPI tracking, and regular reporting to internal stakeholders
- Reporting & control: development and ownership of monthly and quarterly reporting (management reporting, plan-vs-actual comparisons, KPI systems, accounts receivable)
- Budget and forecast monitoring: variance analysis, defining corrective actions, and supporting operational management
- Portfolio monitoring: analysis of the financial performance of the vehicle portfolio and establishment of central control metrics
- Process optimization: further development of interfaces between accounting and controlling (e.g., month-end close, data quality, workflows)
- Stakeholder management: close collaboration with the management of Ennoo Rental, the Head of Controlling and the CFO of the SafeDriver Group
Requirements
- 1–5 years of relevant professional experience in a finance environment (e.g., controlling, finance operations, accounting-related controlling, audit or transaction-oriented consulting)
- Strong understanding of business and finance processes (month-end close, reporting, budgeting, financial planning)
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style with a strong hands-on mentality
- Confident user of Excel and/or Google Sheets; experience building reporting and KPI structures is an advantage
- Clear, audience-appropriate communication with management and internal stakeholders
