About the role
- IT Security Cloud Engineer focusing on AWS security for financial services. Establishing microservices architecture and enhancing cloud security protocols while promoting continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Establish an event-driven microservices architecture based on Spring Boot and Kafka
- Operate, manage and monitor the dwpbank platform using AWS services
- Set up monitoring for early detection of security incidents (SIEM, log analysis, incident response)
- Conduct vulnerability analyses, penetration tests and security audits
- Administer, maintain, analyze and monitor highly available system landscapes and cloud platforms
- Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Requirements
- Completed IT degree or comparable qualification, including certifications (AWS Security Specialty, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty or equivalent)
- Focus on cloud security, including secure configuration, monitoring and incident response on AWS
- Proficient handling of account setup, Identity Center and IAM
- Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and Terraform (IaC)
- Experience with security checks (DevSecOps)
- Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2)
- Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing
