About the role
- Developer for COBOL applications overseeing mainframe systems and transitioning to a microservices-based stack. Joining a team to enhance financial transaction services at the Deutsche WertpapierService Bank AG.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance, support and further development of systems using COBOL
- Analysis of incoming requirements and implementation into technical solutions
- Identification and resolution of error sources, as well as testing and go-live support
- Collaboration within agile, cross-functional teams
- Participation in regular meetings for status updates and new tasks
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of COBOL programming and DB2
- Business-fluent German (C1) and good English skills (B2)
- Experience in a highly regulated environment
- Knowledge of Java is an advantage
- Enjoyment in working with legacy program logic and new technologies
