About the role
- Paralegal handling property damage claims in a commercial insurance team. Supporting senior members with various property liability damage claims in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting senior team members with a varied caseload of: property damage coverage claims, property liability damage claims (public and product liability matters), and pursuing subrogated recovery cases
- Prioritising work effectively and maximising efficiency in working practices
- Building stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
- Developing your technical and commercial knowledge working practice, experience and training.
Requirements
- Relevant Legal qualifications e.g. LLB, LLM
- Previous experience working in a legal environment
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully assess files and sensitive data
- Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience handling insurance related property damage claims or similar work types
- Someone who can demonstrate a real desire to develop their career with DWF.
