About the role

• Paralegal handling property damage claims in a commercial insurance team. Supporting senior members with various property liability damage claims in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting senior team members with a varied caseload of: property damage coverage claims, property liability damage claims (public and product liability matters), and pursuing subrogated recovery cases
• Prioritising work effectively and maximising efficiency in working practices
• Building stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
• Developing your technical and commercial knowledge working practice, experience and training.

Requirements

• Relevant Legal qualifications e.g. LLB, LLM
• Previous experience working in a legal environment
• The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully assess files and sensitive data
• Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience handling insurance related property damage claims or similar work types
• Someone who can demonstrate a real desire to develop their career with DWF.
