About the role

  • Legal Support Assistant for DWF Insurance team handling file management and data processing. Involves working with legal documentation and providing administrative support in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Processing instructions for all new matters.
  • Adhering to strict service levels.
  • Ensuring that files are opened timeously to meet with specific court deadlines related to each file.
  • Accurately entering all relevant data and information on to a centralised system.
  • Be able to prioritise and organise your work efficiently and effectively to ensure all tasks are completed to specified deadlines.
  • Being able to work flexibly and adjust to changes in priority of workload.
  • Maintaining electronic files in line with business process and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Scottish Legal or Law qualifications, with personal interest in Scottish law.
  • Basic to intermediate IT and keyboard skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft systems.
  • Excellent administration / organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to set deadlines and service levels.
  • A good team spirit with proven team working skills.
  • Good attention to detail and concern for accuracy and quality of work
  • Excellent communication skills.
