Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust back-end systems to support data processing, analysis, and API services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements.
• Design and implement secure, scalable APIs to facilitate communication between services.
• Contribute to the design and optimization of our cloud-based architecture, ensuring reliable and secure operations.
• Implement cloud-based services and technologies to support efficient data processing and storage.
• Work with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes, to ensure scalability and flexibility.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot and debug infrastructure-related issues, providing timely resolution and ensuring smooth system operations.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and implement high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Backend Developer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role, with hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable infrastructure.
• Strong experience in API design and implementation, ensuring security and scalability.
• Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Python, and experience with full-stack development is a plus.
• Strong understanding of scalable architecture and best practices for infrastructure and API development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, and experience with cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS).
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
