About the role

Responsibilities
- Act as the focal point for Draper’s presence in the National Security ecosystems
- Lead all high-ranking customer outreach across the National ecosystem
- Lead and coordinate all federal, state, and local legislative engagements
- Lead and execute the annual strategy refresh process
- Develop and execute Draper’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
- Lead and execute Draper’s New Business Council
- Lead DraperSPARX initiative to support startup ecosystem integration into National Security ecosystem
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, Advanced Degree preferred
- 20+ years in executive leadership positions in the National Security industry
- Proven track record of developing disruptive strategic and transformation initiatives
- Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations, DoD FAR, and USG budgetary processes
- Demonstrated experience leading a team in executing strategic initiatives
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to a wide range of audiences
- Ability to understand and summarize complex issues.
